Through the system, semiteh has been actively working with suppliers and service providers to meet or exceed all applicable environmental government requirements worldwide. Among these requirements are the EU's RoHS. RoHS Directive.
Through RoHS, the Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances, the EU has banned the use of lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, PBB and PBDE flame-retardants in most electrical and electronic equipment put on the EU markets. Beginning July 1, 2006, all products put on the EU markets must comply with the Directive.
